The Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department's Feature Friday

Each Friday, the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department features something new for residents and visitors to learn more about. This week we're talking about the CB Trail project!

Through a federally funded grant, the Town of Greenville was able to construct a multi-use recreational trail along County Trunk Highway CB from State Trunk Highway 96 to Levi Drive here in Greenville. This section of trail is 10 feet wide and approximately 0.75 miles long.

In 2015, the Town constructed the 2.2 mile section of trail connecting Greenville and Fox Crossing. This project provides the final connection in the CB Trail. It eliminates the final gap between the southern trail segment previously constructed and the existing trail north of Levi Drive. The full CB Trail runs from Moonshadow Drive in Greenville south to Winneconne Avenue in Neenah.

The Town of Greenville has been actively pursuing the creation of this trail within the community over the past 10 years. This project was originally projected to be completed before winter, but will now be finished in the spring of 2020.
