Construction and mobilization activities on the new Greenville Fire & Safety Building will begin the week of April 8, 2019. This building will be a great asset to the community and will aid in keeping our citizens and volunteers safe and secure for many, many years. A ceremonial ground breaking is planned for early May. Details on the ceremonial ground breaking will be made available once the logistics are confirmed.
Miron Construction Co, Inc. will assist the Town serving as Construction Manager. They anticipate breaking ground the week of April 8, 2019 and are scheduled for completion of all work by the end of December, 2019. The entire project site will be fenced in and protected by locked gates while not occupied by workers. We ask that you share this information with children. While we welcome kids to take in interest in our work, we ask that they keep a safe distance at all times and respect the security fencing and signage.
During this project, Miron will work tirelessly to keep noise, dust, dirt and all other disturbances to a minimum. The work site will be active (typically) from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday-Friday. There will be machinery, equipment, vehicles and construction employees present through the duration of the project and we simply ask that everyone be extra cautious and patient during this time.
Miron will also do their best to keep traffic flow and parking as normal and unrestricted as possible for all members of your community.
Please feel free to contact Miron Construction Co, Inc. with any questions or concerns you may have at any point during the course of the project. The primary contact will be: Kris O’Connor – Miron Superintendent, 920.969.7654 and the secondary contract is Brandon Blank – Miron Risk Control Manager, 920.969.7042.
Once construction has begun, we will post weekly updates on the progress.
