This year marks 20 years for the Village of Greenville named as an Arbor Day Foundation Tree City USA community!
What does it mean to achieved Tree City USA status? It means that we have met the four core standards of sound urban forestry management: maintaining a tree board or department, having a community tree ordinance, spending at least $2 per capita on urban forestry and celebrating Arbor Day.
