Did you know that Greenville offers tennis lessons? The
Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department holds lessons twice a week at the
Jennerjohn Park for children ages 3-17. Participants can choose from several
different class options that are held on either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays
and Thursdays. Each class is one hour long. Classes are taught by qualified
instructors and are based on the United Stated Professional Tennis Registry
standard of teaching. Each lesson focuses on at least one stroke going over
correct grip and progressions of the stroke.
