Town of Greenville Administrative Offices Temporarily Closed to Support Health Management Efforts

The health and well-being of our citizens, staff, colleagues, and community are among our top priorities. Given the evolving concerns around COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) and to help support community health management efforts, we are temporarily suspending in-person office access at our Town Hall, Public Works & Parks administrative offices for general day-to-day business. These changes will go into effect Tuesday, March 17, 2020. We plan to resume full office access on Monday, April 6, 2020, subject to public health conditions at that time.

For any business that needs to be conducted with the Town of Greenville, we ask people to consider visiting our website or calling the appropriate office or staff person. We’ll continue to offer many options to serve your needs:

Utility Bill Payment
We encourage you to pay your water/sewer bill by mail, drop-off box, online or by phone. More details on these payment options can be found at: http://townofgreenville.com/departments/water_sewer/index.php

Voting
Your vote is important to us. You can request an absentee ballot by mail through the State of Wisconsin’s My Vote website: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/, or by calling the Town Clerk’s office at (920) 757-5151 ext. 1101. Absentee ballot requests for the April 7, 2020 election must be made by this date: April 2, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. We will be following the guidance of the Wisconsin Elections Commission for election administration policy and procedures.

Dog Licenses
Dog licenses are due by March 31, 2020. Licenses can be applied for by mail. Please submit your payment with proof of rabies vaccination and the appropriate form which lists the name, gender, breed, and color of the dog(s). Building Permits
For contractors, we are still processing all permits, forms, and documents as normal. We ask that you consider ways to conduct business with staff in a virtual manner or over the phone where possible. Building and construction permits can be completed by downloading the appropriate form and submitting it with fee by mail. Yard Waste Site Permits
The Town’s compost drop-off facility will be open during standard business hours only. We will not be opening the facility for extended hours at this time. Annual permits can be applied for by mail. Park Rentals & Recreation Program Registrations
Park shelter rentals and recreation program registrations can be completed by mail. Submit the appropriate form and payment. Rentals and registrations will be placed on a first received basis. Board Meetings & Scheduled Events
Town Board, Planning Commission and other public open meetings will take place as routinely scheduled. For all public meetings, we are putting a temporary ban on public comment at the meetings. The meetings are still open to the public as required by law, but we encourage people to consider sharing any feedback with members via email or phone call: http://www.townofgreenville.com/government/town_board_directory.php. You can also contact the Town Clerk’s Office at whelgeson@townofgreenville.com or the Town Administrator at joelg@townofgreenville.com and we will forward those comments to the appropriate board/commission. We will be working on a way to live stream the meetings online. Details will be forthcoming as the logistics are determined.

Meetings between the Public and Town Staff
Staff will be working with interested parties to conduct online web meetings where possible. Person-to-person meetings will be suspended during this time. Please work directly with the appropriate staff member for details.
