Like many, our department felt the lingering effects of COVID-19 over the last year. But even with these obstacles to overcome, our staff worked hard to make 2021 another successful year! We were able to resume our regular Movie Night practices, purchased a new service truck, move into our new office /shop and, alongside our regular maintenance, accomplish several other large scale projects!
Here are some of the projects we are most proud of:
- Celebrated 20 years as a Tree City USA
- Lions Park street light upgrade
- Completed construction of Schultz Farm Road
- Culvert replacement and trail repair on the Hwy 76 Trail
- Construction of new trail segment along Kimberly Ct.
- Reconstruction of the Jennerjohn Park parking lot
- Dedicated and renaming of Pebble Ridge Park to James Wunderlich Park
- Installation of Pickleball, Basketball, Tennis and Volleyball courts at Lions Park
- Relandscaped the Schuler Woods sign at Lions Park
- Additional snow removal on trails
- Traffic flow and parking updates at Lions Park
