Greenville Project Updates

The projects detailed below are large scale projects happening in addition to our regular, day to day, operations. Their completion may be managed by village staff or the services may be contracted with a third party. Please remember that all of the information and time lines are weather dependent and subject to change at any time. Streets

  • Greenwood Road Reconstruction
    • Week of 11/01/21: Work on restoration north of Cedar Ln, and asphalt paving of the roadway and driveways north of Cedar Ln.
    • Week of 11/8/21: Work to finish restoration of project north of Cedar Ln.
    • Coming Events: The Village will be reinstalling fire numbers, and residents are responsible for mailbox installation. A letter has been delivered to your door notifying you of temporary mailbox removal on November 15. Next year the final lift of asphalt will be installed, along with the speed-tables at the intersections of Lilac, Rickey and Parkview. There will also be trees planted in the terrace next year.

Water & Sewer

  • STH 76 Force Main & Lift Station Improvements
    • Week of 11/1/21: Bypass has been removed from Lift Station 2. New equipment is in operation. Demolition and abandonment of existing Wet Well at Lift Station 2 will begin. Bypass at Lift Station 1 is still in place. Equipment is being installed at Lift Station 1 Wet Well.
    • Week of 11/8/21: Paving of parking lot at Lift Station 2 will begin. Equipment at Lift Station 1 Wet Well will continue to be installed. Restoration at Lift Station 1 and 2 will begin.

Parks, Recreation & Forestry

  • Jennerjohn Park Parking Lot Reconstruction
    • The parking lot accessed from Rickey Lane will be reconstructed to be more efficient for parking and stormwater facilities will be installed to direct water to the pond. Construction was planned to begin August 30 but is delayed due to supply issues. Completion is scheduled for the beginning of November. This lot will be CLOSED during construction. The park will remain open with parking available in the Meadowview Drive lot. Trail access from Rickey Lane will remain open.
    • Week of 11/01/2021: Asphalt paving, restoration
    • Week of 11/08/2021: Signing and pavement marking
