Weekly Law Enforcement Report - 2nd Week of May 2019

Here is a summary of some of the higher priority calls in Greenville. Also attached is a weekly summary for all calls in the Town of Greenville.
  
2nd week of May, 05/06/2019 to 05/12/2019

Burglary- DS Storage Units Hwy 96 

A Deputy was dispatched for a Burglary complaint at DS Storage. The Deputy arrived on scene and discovered the suspect had used a bolt cutters to cut off the doors pin locking mechanism to gain entry. A Jeep brush guard was taken along with several old metal toys. No other storage units have been broken into in the area. This complaint was forwarded to investigations and extra patrol will be done.

Theft - Contractor Dr  

A Deputy was dispatched for a stolen snow plow. The deputy made contact with the victim via telephone. Victim advised that his brand new Boss DXT snow plow had been stolen. The victim was able to provide a serial # and cost of snow plow $6,000.00 to the Deputy. Deputy investigated further and was able to get video footage of suspect vehicle stealing the plow. Further investigation will be done regarding this theft.

Damage- Greenville FedEx

Deputies were dispatched for a damage complaint. The victim stated that her vehicle had been damaged by an ex boyfriend. Deputies spoke with the victim who stated that her ex boyfriend and her had broken up and that he wrote cheater on her car. She provided video proof of her ex doing this via her phone. Deputies interviewed further where they found out that it was a domestic relationship. Deputies followed proper domestic procedure including paperwork. Deputies were able to locate the suspect with assistance from another agency and the suspect was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Graffiti.
